本季度电子刊于1993年创刊，刊登环境科学和相关的环境研究主题广泛领域内的权威性综述，重点关注于人为压力对自然和人为生态系统的影响以及反应。本刊的作者和范围都是国际性的，提交和受邀提交的重要文献综述的内容包括可持续发展、供水管理、气候变化、收获影响、酸雨、农药使用、湖泊酸化、空气和海洋污染、石油和天然气开发、生物控制、食物链的生物放大作用、污染的水生生态系统的复原、腐蚀、林业、环境压力的生物指标、生物多样性的保护和许多其他环境问题。
