As cardiovascular scientists the zebrafish affords us many opportunities. Transgenesis allows us to fluorescently label specific cell-types. Here, we are looking at the heart, built primarily of cardiomyocytes (yellow) and endothelial cells (magenta). Combining this with a nuclear stain (blue) reveals the genetic hubs that have proven so amenable. Imaging carried out in the Wolfson Bioimaging Facility, University of Bristol.
