《加拿大渔业和水产科学杂志》
本月刊于1901创刊（曾使用多个刊名），是水产科学领域主要的多学科出版物。本刊刊登观点（总结、批评和重新评估）、探讨（评论与回复）、论文和快讯，涉及到细胞、生物体、种群、生态系统或者影响水生生态系统进程的最新研究。目的是对渔业和水产科学领域积累的知识进行扩充、修改、质疑和重新导向。
对于生物多样性原始数据，本刊鼓励作者把所有物种的分布纪录上载到公开的数据库，如全球生物多样性信息机构（GBIF）设于各国的网站（www.gbif.org），或被GBIF认可的数据库，如专门收录淡水数据的BioFresh系统（www.freshwaterbiodiversity.eu）和收录海洋生物多样性的海洋生物地理信息系统(OBIS, http://www.iobis.org) 。这些系统也同样支持物种变化的查询和监测。
