A handful of softwood biochar (a 50:50 mix of pine and spruce) produced by Titan Carbon Smart Technologies in Saskatchewan. The biochar was applied as part of a three-year-long trial at a commercial poultry farm with a cash crop component in Bayfield, Ontario. It was added to crops at a rate of three tonnes per hectare.
